Do you ever feel like you’re stuck in a creative rut? Maybe you’ve been using the same designs for a while and it feels like you’re just recreating the same card over and over again? Caseing Tuesday can help. Casing Tuesday challenges me to think creatively. Sometimes I find layouts and sketches I like, and other times, well, let’s just say “once and done”. But no matter what, I feel great about stepping outside my comfort zone.
Today’s card sketch is a very good example of #SimpleStamping. In fact, There isn’t much stamping at all. Using the Woven Threads Stamp Set, I inked the background stamp in Sahara Sand, stamped it off on scratch paper and then stamped the label. I did this two more times on the top and bottom of the card base. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black. That’s it! The rest is just paper and embellishments.
Want to play along with the CASE-ing Tuesday?
Use the sketch to plan out your card. You can change a lot, a little, or make the card just as it is in the catalog. Then post it to the Facebook thread. We can’t wait to see your cards. You can use the following hashtag if you post your card elsewhere on Facebook or Social Medial. #CASEingTuesday211.
