CASE-ing Tuesday:  Twinkle, Twinkle

It’s ​CASE-ing Tuesday!  My friend, Brenda Quintana, hosts a weekly challenge where we CASE (copy and share everything) a card from the catalog.  This week, the challenge was to CASE this very cute card from the 2017 Holiday Catalog, which features theChristmas in the Making stamp set.  ​

Brenda’s challenge is to recreate the card, changing as much or as little as you like, and the post a picture in the Facebook Group.  When I saw the design, I immediately thought of the Moon Baby stamp set.  So, at 6:30 this morning, I was up in my studio, designing a card for this CASE-ing challenge.  It was a great opportunity, too, to use my new Stampin’ Blends Markers!  Now, to see if I know someone with a baby girl on the way!

Base:  Powder Pink, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at
4 1/4″, and embossed with the Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing folder
Layer 1: Burlap Ribbon, 4 1/2″
Layer 2: Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon
Layer 3: Crumb Cake, Largest Layering Circle Scallop
Layer 4:  Very Vanilla, Largest Layering Circle

1. Using Memento Ink, stamp image and sentiment onto Layer 4.  Color with Stampin’ Blends markers in Ivory, Daffodil Delight, and Pink Pirouette. Mount onto Layer 3. 
2. Adhere Layers 1 & 2 to base, by running Snail along the back side of the ribbon and adhering to card. 
3. Add image to card with dimensionals.
