CASE-ing Tuesday #167: Happy Halloween

​I’m in the Halloween spirit this week!  The Toil & Trouble Paper has the perfect background, too, to CASE, or recreate this CASE-ing Tuesday Card. 

My niece and nephew discovered Harry Potter last spring.  They are fully immersed in the wizarding world of Hogwarts, so much so, that they begged their mommy to make their homeschool into Hogwarts!  My niece had a Harry Potter themed birthday party a few weeks ago, and everyone got in on the act.  Spells were cast, wizardly treats devoured, dragon eggs hatched, and the American Girl doll now has a full Hogwarts uniform in her repertoire. 

It was only fitting that the card I made today, captured that wizarding spirit.  Now…to go find a stamp because relying on owls to deliver mail to San Diego is a bit iffy.

Base: Soft Suede, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, 5 1/4″ x 4″
Layer 2:  Witches Hats from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, cut using the Cauldron framelits (cut 2)
Layer 3: Vellum Sprigs punched with the sprigs punch (punch 3)
Layer 4: Mango Melody, 2 1/4″ x 3/4″, punched with Banner Triple Punch
Layer 5: Whisper White, 1 7/8″ x 1/2″

1. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Layer 5.  Adhere to Layer 4.
2. Adhere Layers 1-2 to base.
3. Adhere sprigs together with glue dots and add to base. 
4. ​Add sentiment to base with dimensionals.
