I don’t know how, but it’s CASEing Tuesday already! This week’s card features a watercolor wash technique using Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Pencils and the Pleasant Pheasants Stamp Set. As soon as I saw this set in the catalog, it took me back to my childhood in Spokane. We lived in hills, wooded with pine trees, and at the base of the hill was a field that was home to hundreds, if not thousands of ring-neched pheasnts every fall. They were so pretty and such a sight to see.
What’s great about this set is that it comes as a complete set! Stampin’ Up! has made it easy to order everything you need to make these cards is packaged together in the Pleasant Pheasant Cards Supplies Set. This set includes:
- Pleasant Pheasants Clear-Mount Stamp Set
- Clear Block E
- Festive Farmhouse Cardstock Pack
- Jet Black Stāzon Pad
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Watercolor Pencils
- Linen Thread

Love this card. The chicken wire, button, burlap and linen thread add so much. Love the layering effect.
Thank you! It’s fun how just a bunch of small pieces really add up to one big effect.
I love anything countr
Me too!
I must say I passed over this stamp set in the catalog but you have designed a beautiful card. All the embellishments really made this card.
Thank you.
I love that technique using the colors in the clear block. It created a great background for this stamp. It;s a lovely card!
It’s a very fun, and quick, technique. It gives a really nice watercolor wash effect.
Love this card. I have friends who have mentioned the new pheasant stamp and honestly that one doesn’t do a thing for me. But, this Happy thanksgiving card now that’s another story! I love the simplicity of this. ❤️
Thank you, Beverly.
This card is stunning. I absolutely love the chicken wire and burlap.
The chicken wire is so much fun to use!
I love the watercolor wash and the chicken wire!! I completely ignored this set in the catalog , but I love your card so I may have to reconsider!
While not one of the ‘big’ sets, I think it’s lovely. Glad you liked it.
I like everything about this card. The colors, texture and the stamp set.
Thank you, Ann.
Looking through my catalog, I skip over stamp sets that don’t call out to me. 😁 Then I see you use one of those sets and I totally change my mind! It’s all in the interpretation…the colors, the paper used, the embellishments.
