This week, I’m focusing on Stampin’ Up!’s lovely designer series papers. With the Buy 3/Get 1 Free sale happening throughout July, it’s the perfect time to showcase paper. But then again, when isn’t a good time to showcase paper?
Today, we’re taking a look at the Nature’s Poem paper. With it’s greens, purples, and oranges, it’s perfect for all seasons. It also that sunprint look that I used to do with my Montessori students using leaves and flowers and sun-sensitive paper, giving it an almost- vintage look in some instances. This is a paper that while meant to be used along with the Rooted in Nature bundle, it’s bold prints or subtle patterns will be able to stand well on its own, too.
The Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper colors include: Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White.

Base: Crumb Cake, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1: Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paer, 5 1/4″ x 3
Layer 2: Cajun Craze, Nature’s Roots Tree Framelit
Layer 3: Whisper White, Nature’s Roots Tree Framelit
Layer 4: Black Berry Bliss, 3/8″x 3 1/4″
Layer 5: Crumb Cake, 1/4″ x 3 1/8″
Layer 1: Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paer, 5 1/4″ x 3
Layer 2: Cajun Craze, Nature’s Roots Tree Framelit
Layer 3: Whisper White, Nature’s Roots Tree Framelit
Layer 4: Black Berry Bliss, 3/8″x 3 1/4″
Layer 5: Crumb Cake, 1/4″ x 3 1/8″

Stamp the following:
- In Versamark, stamp leaf pattern onto Base.
- In Blackberry Bliss, stamp the tree onto Layer 3 and sentiment onto Layer 5.
- Adhere Layer 1 to Base.
- Adhere Layers 4 & 5, slightly off set. Wrap with Linen Thread and tie a knot. Add to base with Dimensionals.
- Adhere Layers 2 & 3, slightly off set. Add to base with Dimensionals.
- Finish with 3 gold Metallic pearls.
