CASE-ing Tuesday #149

Welcome to CASE-ing Tuesday!  It’s the day where we find a card in the Stampin’ Up! Inspiration Book (aka, the catalog), and say, “I love that card!  Let’s make one like it!“.  It can be the same card, or it can be completely different, using the sketch more like a suggestion rather than directions.  Anyway you play, however, it’s sure to be a winner! 

This is the last week that we’re using any sketches from the 2017-2018 catalog or Occasions mini catalog.  Why?  Because the NEW catalog debuts on June 2nd!  That’s this Saturday!!!  And it’s no coincidence that that is the day for my SUPER SATURDAY Catalog Kickoff and BOGO Sale.  I can’t wait.  It is my biggest sale of the year and I’ll have 3 classes running all at the same time.  I have a few few class kits left for the Share What You Love Stamp-a-Stack and the In Color Notecard Stack.  Email me today to reserve your kit.  And feel free to stop by the Dan Pollit Center (in Pittsboro, NC) from 10 am – 2 pm to shop my sale.

Base: Basic Black 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Layer 1:  Share What You Love Designer Series Paper, 5 1/4″ x 4″
Layer 2: Vellum, 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Layer 3: 3 squares of Tranquil Tide, 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″
Layer 4: 3 squares of Whisper White, 1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″
Layer 5 (inside):  Whisper White, 5 1/4″ x 4″

1. Stamp images in Tranquil Tide onto layer 4 Squares. Adhere to layers 3.
2. Stamp sentiment in Tranquil Tide onto Layer 2 Vellum.  Be careful!  It will smudge until you heat set it on the lowest setting. 
3. Adhere Layers 1 & 2. Wrap Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon around and secure with glue dots.  Adhere to Base. 
4. Add small squares with mini dimensionals. 
5. Add Layer 5 inside the card.
