I can’t believe it’s time for CASE-ing Tuesday! It seems like it was just last week…wait…it was just last week! My how time flies.
I’m meeting a good friend for coffee tomorrow morning. I think I’ll take her my card and surprise her! This week’s card to case comes from the Coffee Cafe suite. While there are framelits to coordinate with the stamps, I kept it simple, concentrating on the stamps themselves. I just love photopolymer stamps. Being able to see through the stamp on to the paper makes layering stamps and ink so much easier.
Today’s Tutorial
Base: Whisper White Thick, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″,
scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Early Espresso, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Soft Sky, 5″ x 3 3/4″, embossed with Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder
Layer 3: Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 5″, punched with Banner Triple Punch
Layer 4: Whisper White, 3″ x 3 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Early Espresso, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Soft Sky, 5″ x 3 3/4″, embossed with Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder
Layer 3: Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, 2″ x 5″, punched with Banner Triple Punch
Layer 4: Whisper White, 3″ x 3 1/2″
- Adhere Layers 1-3 to card.
- Stamp the following on layer 4:
- Cup in Soft Sude
- Sentiment in Garden Green
- Lid in Early Espresso
- Hearts background in Soft Sky.
- Wrap linen thread around Layer 4 and tie a bow. Adhere to card.
