I don’t know how it happened, but the Lad turns 22 in 2 weeks. Time to start designing some birthday cards so I can make the perfect card.
Truth be told, my first impulse was to make yet another card with my VERY FAVORITE bundle, Petal Palette, but I challenged myself to grab a different stamp set. And because, the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper is only around until the end of Sale-a-Bration (3/31!), I thought I’d grab that and the Bubble Over Bundle and see what I could come up with.

CASEing Tuesday #137: Bubbles & Fizz
Base: Lemon Lime Twist, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″, embossed with Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder
Layer 3: Basic Black Scalloped Black Square
Layer 4: Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper Square
Layer 5: Vellum, 2 sizes of bottles
Layer 6: Lemon Lime Twist, 2 sizes of bottle labels
Layer 7: Whisper White, 2 sizes of bottle labels
Layer 8: Silver Foil bottle caps
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″, embossed with Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder
Layer 3: Basic Black Scalloped Black Square
Layer 4: Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper Square
Layer 5: Vellum, 2 sizes of bottles
Layer 6: Lemon Lime Twist, 2 sizes of bottle labels
Layer 7: Whisper White, 2 sizes of bottle labels
Layer 8: Silver Foil bottle caps
- Stamp Daffodil Delight bubbles onto Layer 2. (Yes, after it’s been embossed! It adds depth and texture). Adhere to Layer 1.
- Wrap Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon and tie in a knot. Adhere to base.
- Stamp sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Layer 7. Adhere to Layers 6.
- Color the back of the Layer 5 bottles with the Dark Daffodil Delight Blends alcohol marker. Dry with the Heat Tool on the lowest setting. Add labels to the front of the bottles.
- Adhere layers 3 & 4 and add to base.
- Add bottles with dimensionals.
- Add Layer 8 with glue dots.
