It’s a chilly, cloudy day here on my second day in Southern California. It seems I’ve arrived during their annual 2 weeks of winter. There’s an 80% chance of rain today, so this sunny little spring Tranquil Tulips card should add some color. The card is my entry for this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday group.

Today’s Tutorial
Base: Whisper White 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”
Layer 2: Peekaboo Peach, 5” x 3 ¾”, embossed with Petal Burst Textured Embossing Folder
Layer 3: Basic Black, Lots of Labels Framelit
Layer 4: Whisper White Lots of Labels Framelit
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”
Layer 2: Peekaboo Peach, 5” x 3 ¾”, embossed with Petal Burst Textured Embossing Folder
Layer 3: Basic Black, Lots of Labels Framelit
Layer 4: Whisper White Lots of Labels Framelit
- Stamp first onto Layer 4: Tulips in Calypso Coral and stems in Old Olive. Add black sentiments and anthers for the flower.
- Sponge edges of Layer 4 with Calypso Coral. Add to Layer 3. Add several dimensionals to back of labels and wind Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon (a Free Sale-a-Bration item!) around the back.
- Add all layers to card.
