CASE-ing Tuesday #135:  You’re Inspiring

We all have that mermaid in our lives.  That special inspiration who swims against the current with grace and dignity, hearing their own call of the sea, that perhaps no one else can hear.  And for all of those beautiful mermaids, I share this CASE-ing Tuesday card with you.

​As soon as I saw the design to CASE, I knew I wanted to show case one of these pretty glittery mermaids from the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper.   Not only is the glitter on her tail, but the but so are the bubbles on the background paper.  If you haven’t seen this paper, you really need to get some.  It’s even prettier in person.  From Lego-type knights in shining armor, to Tolkien-esque Hobbits and wizards, the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper appeals to the kid in all of us.

Base:  Whisper White Note Card, 5″ x 3 1/2″
Layer 1: Basic Black, 4 7/8″ x 3 3/8″
Layer 2: Myths and Magic Designer Series Paper, 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″
Layer 3:  Basic Black Scalloped Circle
Layer 4:  Myths and Magic Mermaid Circle
Small piece of Whisper White for sentiment

1. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Black on the small piece of Whisper White and cut a flag end into one end.  
2. Adhere layers 1 & 2 to base.
3. Adhere layers 3 & 4  and add to base with dimensionals. 
4. Add dimensionals to the sentiment and add a small strip of Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon.  Attach to card. ​
