CASE-ing Tuesday #132 – Hedgehugs

It’s Tuesday and you know what that means.  Time to CASE the catalog.  This week’s catalog card featured the Party Pandas.  But when I saw it, I thought Hedgehogs!   They’re both truly adorable, aren’t they? 

I tried to stay as close to the catalog as possible this week.  I really liked the offset banners, which are made easy by using the Banner Triple Punch.   I have to say it is probably my favorite punch to use, too.

Base Old Olive, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Layer 1:  Early Espresso, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2:  Crumb Cake, 5″ x 3 3/4″, embossed with the Simple Strips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Layer 3:  Color Theory Designer Series Paper, 4 1/4″ x 2″
Layer 4:  Color theory Designer Series Paper, 3 3/4″ x 1 1/2″
Layer 5:  Early Espresso, Scalloped Oval
Layer 6: Whisper White, Stitched Shape Oval

1. Stamp image onto Layer 6 in Early Espresso.  Color Flower with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker.  Adhere to Layer5.
2. Place several dimensionals on the back of Layer 6 and wrap linen thread around them.  
3. Adhere layers to card.
