There’s so many choices when it comes to coloring. I hadn’t used my Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils in a long time, but these leaves from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set needed something softer then Stampin’ Write Markers, and even more delicate than the Stampin’ Blends. I’m so glad we have such amazing choices when it comes to adding color to our projects. Blending the Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pen softens the lines, creating a smooth, no line look.
Do you know that there’s a second set of Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils? They’re beautiful! This new set contains:
- Balmy Blue,
- Cajun Craze,
- Cherry Cobbler,
- Coastal Cabana,
- Crushed Curry,
- Flirty Flamingo,
- Garden Green,
- Gorgeous Grape,
- Granny Apple Green,
- Night of Navy
These Watercolor Pencils are part of the Color Your Season promotion, and are only available through the end of August!

- Begin with Old Olive and work from the base of the leaf to the center.
- Add Daffodil Delight to right at the tips.
- Outline with Pumpkin Pie.
- Blend color with the Blender Pen, working from Old Olive into Daffodil Delight. You may have to clean off your Blender Pen on scratch paper to keep the color from getting muddy. Continue softly blending, pulling Pumpkin Pie into Daffodil Delight.
