Today’s card was inspired by Pinterest, but I challenged myself to use colors I hadn’t used for a while. The Rich Razzleberry and Basic Black combo means I could use this for any special occasion -male or female. It’s always more challenging for me to create masculine cards, and this will work perfectly. A full tutorial is listed below.
Cutting and Measurement:
Layer base: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″, Basic Black
Layer 1: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″, Rich Razzleberry
Layer 2: 5 1/4″ x 4″, Whisper White
Whisper White: 1 x 3 3/4″
Rich Razzleberry: 1 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Basic Black: 1 1/4″ x 4″
Putting it All Together:
1. Stamp Star pattern on the bottom of Layer 2 in Rich Razzleberry. Rotate paper 90 degrees. Reink the stamp, and stamp again.
2. Adhere Layers 1 & 2 to base using Fast Fuse.
3. Stamp sentiment in Basic Black. Adhere flag layers and adhere directly to card.
4. Add gold metallic stars to add the finishing touch.
