Sympathy cards are always difficult for me, but masculine sympathy cards are especially hard. I’ve found that something neutral and simple is best. When I saw something similar from Tina Rappe on Pintrest, I knew I had to try it.
Using the sea grass, sandpiper, and sentiment from the Wetlands Stamp set, I stamped the seagrass in Crumb Cake and Basic Black onto Very Vanilla cardstock. The sandpipers were stamped in Basic Black onto a 1 1/4″ x 3 3/4″strip of Very Vanilla, layered onto a strip of 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ Basic Black cardstock. The sentiment was also stamped in Basic Black.
Card base: Very Vanilla 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
