Today on Coffee & Cards with Michelle, we made beautiful hydrangeas using the baby wipe technique and the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin. I love this technique for it’s subtle shading & pop of color, don’t you?
I thought I killed my hydrangeas last summer. I had pretty potted ones that got fried by the hot Southern summer sun. I had just about given up on them and was going to pull them out of the pots when lo and behold…they’re sprouting green again. I absolutely can’t wait to watch them grow and bloom by my front door again.
So when I saw the leaf stamp in the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin, I immediately saw hydrangeas. It was really funny when I turned the instruction sheet over and they actually had a sample. I guess you could say that today is a double caseing day…it’s #CaseingTuesday and the Paper Pumpkin sample – with some slight modifications, of course.
Which one do you like better? The oval with solid stamping or the circle with the baby wipe technique? Leave me a comment below.
