Sometimes, less is more. And while I love coloring with Blends or watercoloring with my Aqua Painters, today’s card had so many colorful textures already, I just went with a simple gold embossed outline of this lovely rose. I did have to sacrifice one of my envelopes though for the background layer. I simply snipped of the bottom and the edges, then ran int through my die cutting machine with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Then, I finished it off with a little Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim to add a bit of a touch of vintage, too.
Paper Pumpkin’s are great just the way they are…or, see where the creative spirit moves you. You can’t go wrong, especially when you have coordinating ink, paper, and embellishments. The sky’s the limit when it comes to how much you can do with these monthly kits.
