Sometimes…things don’t go as we planned.  I had planned to case this beautiful butterfly from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set, but I discovered I wasn’t in the mood for coloring last night.  Shocking, I know.  What happened instead was this brand new pack of Subtles Designer Series Paper was calling my name.  So, my beautiful butterfly metamorphosed into a Balmy Blue Birthday card.  

I know I’ll go back and make this butterfly one day soon.  I’m really waiting ever so patiently for all the new Stampin’ Blends colors to be available.  You know they’ll be on the top of my list!

Base:  Balmy Blue, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ 
Layer 1: Basic Black, 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2: Whisper White, 5″ x 3 3/4″
Layer 3:  Balmy Blue Subtles Designer Series Paper, 3 1/2″ x 3″

1. Stamp Sentiment in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink onto Layer 1.  
2. Adhere Layers 2 & 3.  Wrap with Whisper White 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon and tie a knot.  Adhere to Layer 1 and add to Base. 
3. Finish with 3 large Rhinestones.  ​
